An Evening of Healing, Horses and Soul Connection

Session held within the beautiful energy of Horses

I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming two beautiful ladies to spend a few blissful hours with my horses, surrounded by nature, stillness and the gentle energy of the herd.

We began our evening by creating a sacred space together, lighting our candles, pulling an oracle card to read at the end and setting an intention for the journey ahead.

We opened with an affirmation: “I arrive here with an open heart, and gently release all that I no longer need to carry. I leave behind the noise of the world and step into the quiet space between breath and being. I open myself to the ancient wisdom of the horse, to the whispers of the earth beneath my feet, to the stillness of nature, and to the unseen energy that surrounds and holds me. May the horses mirror back to me what my soul is ready to see. May I soften, surrender and remember the wisdom that already lives within me. I trust this moment. I trust the horses. I trust the journey. And I trust the quiet knowing of my own soul.” ✨ From there, we moved into meditation, allowing ourselves to slow down, breathe deeply and simply be. We then stepped into the field and began our grounding work with the horses. 🐴 Our first exercise was about release and calling in — consciously letting go of what we no longer wished to carry, creating space for the things, feelings and energies we wanted to welcome into our lives.

Once we had grounded ourselves and released what was ready to be let go of, we moved into our mirroring exercise.

We became curious about the horses and their behaviour, noticing what they were showing us and how their energy might reflect something within ourselves. Also how their  behaviour made us feel. How were the horses behaving? How were we feeling in that moment? What might they be mirroring back to us? Sometimes the horses have a beautiful way of showing us things without a single word being spoken. They simply are — present, honest and completely in the moment — and when we become still enough, their presence can offer us a different kind of reflection.

At the beginning of the evening, each of us had also drawn an oracle card. We placed our cards beneath the gentle glow of the candles on our little altar, leaving them there while we worked with the horses. When we returned, we gathered around the altar and turned our cards over. And somehow, each message seemed to find exactly the person it was meant for. ✨

There were tears. There was laughter. There were moments of beautiful silence. There was comfort. There was vulnerability. And there was the quiet feeling of being truly heard and supported. Most of all, there was love. Love between women. Love for ourselves. Love for the horses. And that beautiful, unspoken connection that can arise when we create the space to simply be present.

Sometimes healing doesn’t need to be loud. Sometimes it happens quietly — in a breath, a tear, a horse standing beside you, a card that speaks directly to your heart, or in the feeling that, for a few precious hours, you don’t have to carry everything alone. 🤍

I feel incredibly grateful that my horses and I were able to hold this space for these two wonderful souls. And perhaps, as the horses so often remind us, the healing we are searching for is sometimes already within us — we just need a safe space, a little stillness, and someone to help us remember. 🌙🐴✨
